Rabbi Baruch Frydman-Kohl became senior rabbi of Beth Tzedec Congregation in 1993 after serving a congregation in Albany, New York. He has brought to Beth Tzedec an interest in involving single adults and young couples in Jewish life and a deep commitment to provide hesed (the support which is nourished by lovingkindness) to the sick, the shut-ins and the bereaved. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Rabbi Frydman-Kohl has intellectual interests in the areas of Jewish philosophy and mysticism and often draws upon these Jewish theological sources for his teaching.

Harvey Meirovich is currently Rabbi at Beth Tzedec Congregation in Toronto, Ontario and on sabbatical leave as Senior Lecturer in Jewish Studies at the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary in Jerusalem. He is former Dean of the rabbinical school (2000-2005). His teaching focusses on exploring the signficance and relevance of the Jewish classical tradition as it confronts the challenges of modernity, and interpreting the religious movements of Judaism in the modern period.

Rav Adam joined the Beth Tzedec rabbinic team in August 2009. A Toronto native, he is a graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York City where he worked as a Beit Midrash advisor and synagogue gabbai. Adam previously served as the Resnick Rabbinic Intern at Congregation Sons of Israel in Briarcliff Manor, New York and as the Legacy Heritage Fund Student Rabbi of Congregation Shaara T'fille in Saratoga Springs, New York. He is a lifelong Ramahnik, founder of Varsity Jews and an alumnus of the University of Toronto and CHAT. His intellectual interests include the application of halakhah in contemporary life and the dimensions and limits of pluralism in Jewish thought. At Beth Tzedec, in addition to general rabbinic responsibilities, he is the go-to rabbi for youth through young professionals. His door is always open and he'd love to get to know you over a chat, coffee or lunch.
