Pre-registration required by Thursday, October 8 at 5:00 pm
Come together - safely, of course - in community to celebrate Simhat Torah from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM on Sunday, October 11th with outdoor Hakafot and Torah reading in the Beth Tzedec parking lot. Each family/bubble/pod with be assigned a table and a Sefer Torah to participate in Hakafot with. After 7 Hakafot, we will read from the end and then the beginning of the Torah, marking a new cycle of Torah reading and learning that we celebrate on Simhat Torah.
To keep everyone safe, all participants must be masked at all times, and children will be the sole responsibility of their accompanying adults. Maximum capacity of 100 people (based on current public health regulations) or 24 tables (based on space in the parking lot), whichever is reached reached first. All participants must pre-register by Thursday at 5:00pm; no walk-ups will be permitted.
