We're thrilled to partner with the Toronto Jewish community to celebrate a Pride Shabbat at Wychwood Barns (76 Wychwood Ave., Toronto)!
The month of Pride is a time for recognition and celebration. We do this through marching and dancing and by taking time to lift up 2SLGBTQ+ people in all cultures. Our annual Pride Shabbat dinner is an opportunity to gather as a diverse Jewish community and celebrate Pride together.
We look forward to gathering together again in person for the first time since 2019 at Wychwood Barns! This year's event will include an inclusive, welcome-to-all Kabbalat Shabbat service, blessings, a picnic-style dinner, and lots of opportunities to connect with old friends and meet new ones. This event is 2SLGBTQ+ centred, allies are welcome to attend.
Dinner will be 'Bring Your Own' picnic-style. Groups will be offered grape juice, candles and mini ẖallahs.
Pre-registration is require. To register, click here>>.
We encourage you to bring your whole family! Children's activities will be offered by Machane Lev camp for kids 7 to 16 years old.
2SLGBTQ+ Jewish life is blossoming in Toronto. If you have the ability to give beyond the cost of the event, your funds will go to support the upcoming 2SLGBTQ+ Jewish community building.
Because the venue has limited capacity, we encourage you to buy your tickets soon. Tickets are on sale until Wednesday, June 15. Unfortunately, tickets will not be available at the door.
We are committed to accessibility. Please contact Cara Gold, carag@mnjcc.org with any accommodation requests.
