War movies are rarely more harrowing and unsettling than when they focus on hapless, innocent children, and so it proves with Wunderkinder. At the centre of this thriller are three gifted children who are trying to survive in the world gone mad.
“Wunderkinder” won a major award from Yad Vashem in Jerusalem for “artistic achievement in Holocaust-related film”.
