Beth Tzedec want to play an important role in your Jewish Journey, with opportunities to learn and grow as a Congregation. We offer programs for learners of all ages to deepen and grow their understanding of Jewish thought and traditions. We host guest lecturers and academics who stand out in their fields, including our own members. Come and learn. It’s all here.
In ancient Israel on the festival of Shavuot, Jews would gather at the Temple in Jerusalem, bringing the first fruits of their harvests in gratitude and remembrance of the day we received the Torah at Mount Sinai. We still gather at this time every year.
Please join us in marking the occasion by bringing the most precious "first fruits" of this past year--all the babies who have been born in our Beth Tzedec congregational family!
We invite you, your family, and little one to a festive Shavuot brunch. Meet and connect with other new parents, participate in a special holiday Circle Time, followed by "Babies on the Bimah"—a Beth Tzedec baby processional, when they'll receive a blessing and special gift.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Pre-registration is required for the babies. To register, click HERE.
