Learn to Chant the Haftarah
with Lorne Hanick
Ritual director Lorne Hanick leads this beginner’s course on cantillation trope in general and the application of the cantillation to learning to chant haftarah (the prophetic reading that follows the Torah reading on Shabbat, festivals and other special days.
Reading knowledge of Hebrew is required. The learning materials and sample texts will be provided. The goal is that you learn a haftarah to chant publicly!
