Volunteer registration for the 2026 season of Beth Sholom/ Beth Tzedec Out of the Cold Program is now open until Monday, December 1, 2025. The program will run on Mondays at Beth Sholom Synagogue from January 5 to March 23, 2026.

We welcome both returning and new volunteers to join us in making a difference this winter as we come together to support those in need.

Clothing Donations

The distribution of warm clothing is one of the most essential services we provide to our guests. We greatly appreciate your clothing donations. Please note that we only accept new or nearly-new adult-sized items, and only the following items: down coats, ski jackets, parkas, snow pants, sweaters, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweat pants, flannel shirts, short and long-sleeved t-shirts, blue jeans, corduroy pants, winter boots, hiking boots, running shoes, thermal underwear, gloves and mitts. Brand new underwear and sports bras are needed as well. Clothing can be dropped off at Beth Sholom Synagogue anytime from Monday to Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
