Reb Steve will share coffee with Jennifer Glied-Goldstein, an associate in the Real Estate Department at Aird & Berlis and avid supporter of Israel. They will talk about Jennifer's experience taking a group of friends to visit Israel and the excitements and complexities of modern Israeli communities, and the nuances of life in Israel in contradistinction of the black and white echo chamber of popular discussion.

Jennifer Glied-Goldstein took her first trip to Israel in 2012 and fell in love. Since then she’s travelled back seven times. As a Bialik HDS and CHAT graduate, she had studied the Israeli/Palestinian conflict but was saddened to see the anti-Semitic rhetoric on social media. Having formed a strong friendship with many non-Jewish students at Ivey Business School and Western Law School, she decided to take six of her non-Jewish friends to Israel so they could see for themselves the situation on the ground. Her friends told her it was a trip of a lifetime! 

Jennifer is now an Associate in the Real Estate Department at Aird & Berlis, a supporter of the Weizmann Institute of Science and Carrying Holocaust Testimony and loves reminiscing about Israel with her friends. If you bump into her at the airport, she’ll probably be boarding a flight to Tel Aviv!
