Summer Nights in the Museum

Explore the history of Hebrew letters and the art of Hebrew calligraphy in Jewish communities around the world. From Torah scrolls to ketubot, amulets and haggadot, Rosh Hashanah cards and even decorated eggs, witness how Hebrew letters can be incorporated in art! A very limited number of spaces avaialble. Reserve early.

This is the first in a two-part series. The second session will be held at the Aga Khan Museum on July 20. 


Noam Sienna is a Jewish educator, artist and PhD student in Jewish History and Museum Studies at the University of Minnesota. His work focuses on Jewish communities in the the Islamic world, and his special interests include book history, magic, amulets, henna art and illuminated manuscripts.
