Dr. Josh Binstock is a Chiropractor, an accomplished athlete and a two time Olympian who represented Canada at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic games.

Josh Binstock began competing with fellow Jewish superstar Sam Schachter in 2013 and became the national champions. Together they’ve stood on the podium at three FIVB World Tour events, including a gold medal at the Argentina Open and subsequent silver at the Qatar Open.

They then posted their career best result finishing second at the Grand Slam Major Series tournament in Porec, Croatia, which was the best result for any Canadian team since 1997. Binstock made his Olympic debut at London 2012 alongside Martin Reader and his Pan American debut at Toronto 2015.

He has competed in the Maccabi Games 4 times and was selected to be the flag bearer for the most recent game in 2013.

He played indoor volleyball, where they won the silver medal, which was the best result in the history of the Canadian Maccabi volleyball program.  He followed that up with a Gold Medal performance at the most recent Maccabi Games last summer.

Having experienced Chiropractic care at an early age, he developed an appreciation of the benefits it provided to his overall wellbeing and athletic potential, so he decided to pursue it as a career. After completing his Bachelor of Health and Physical Education from the University of Toronto, he subsequently earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2009.

Dr. Binstock is a speaker at schools, businesses and organizations.

In addition, he also conducts a private mentoring service for student athletes.  He provides insight from what he's learned along his path from his Olympic experience, goal setting, nutrition, managing the academic and athletic loads, how to execute and succeed under pressure, using set backs and adversity to cultivate resilience and the importance of mind/body health.
