Since October 7, it has been hard to imagine a secure and peaceful future for Israel. Yet there is another story—one grounded in hope. The Shalom Hartman Institute in partnership with Beth Tzedec Congregation, Holy Blossom Temple, and The Canadian Jewish News invite you to join us for Pathways to Hope: A Conversation with Young Israeli Changemakers.
Hear from Hartman Vice President Ronit Heyd, Director of the Institute’s Center for Israeli & Jewish Identity in Jerusalem, along with three young Israeli changemakers from the Institute’s Hazon program who are building community, defending democratic values, and confronting the challenging reality of this moment with energy and optimism while working to bring real change in Israeli society. Together, with purpose and optimism, we can help shape a better future for Israel.
Hazon is a cutting-edge training program for Israeli university students eager to become change agents in Israel. The name Hazon (vision) captures the visionary work of the program; Hazon provides leadership tools and training, grounded in a clearly articulated vision of a Jewish democratic Israel.
Program is open to all and will be followed by a 20s and 30s reception.
