Join us at Beth Tzedec as we kick off a night learning, prayer, conversation—and cheesecake!—at our annual Tikkun Leyl Shavuot.
We begin the evening with a keynote with Yehuda Slater alongside Rabbi Fryer Bodzin, followed by the Mincha and Festival Ma'ariv Service, learning sessions and cheesecake breaks, and concluding with a midnight Torah reading.
Kids in grades 2 to 6 are welcome to register for the Shavuot Sleep-Under program. more info>>

Born and raised on Kibbutz Ein Tzurim, Yehuda Slater now lives in Toronto with his talented wife Shirel—who leads teen engagement at Beth Tzedec—and their three young children. They're building a life rooted in the Jewish people and the Zionist dream, filled with laughter, laundry, reserve duty and the occasional sleepless night.
Yehuda is curious about economics, history, and Judaism, and he loves exploring where ancient events meet modern life.
