NOTE: This event has already occurred.

It is ironic that the name Jerusalem, which means “City of Peace”, has been the centre of conflict, trauma and also of messianic hope for the past 3,000 years. In this stimulating three-part series, Professor Dan Bahat will use the tools of archaeology to uncover and then reconstruct the deep historical ties of the Jewish people to the ‘City of Peace'. Dr. Bahat will interpret the latest findings surrounding excavations at the ‘City of David' and will show how Jerusalem became the eternal capital of the Jewish people.Prof. Bahat worked in the Israel Antiquities Authority as an archaeologist in Jerusalem and taught at Bar-Ilan University until 2004. He is now a lecturer at the University of Toronto.
