Now, Yaakov Katz will visit Beth Tzedec  as our scholar-in-residence to share his firsthand knowledge from the Israel/Gaza war. What good news is there to share from the current IDF campaign, and what challenges lay ahead? What will be the impact of the recent Supreme Court rulings, and what will happen to the Israeli government? What about the day after the war?

Yaakov Katz is the former Editor in Chief of the Jerusalem Post, where he is currently a Senior Correspondent and Opinion Writer. He’s also a Fellow at The Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) for which he is considered an expert on Jewish Peoplehood, Israeli society, and its relationship to the Diaspora. 

Yaakov has appeared on CNN and BBC and has written for WSJ, Newsweek, The Washington Post and others. He is currently working on his third book on the IDF.
