Join us for an afternoon with David Bezmozgis, award-winning writer and filmmaker born in Riga, Latvia and raised in Toronto. David’s own experience as a Jewish immigrant in Toronto influences his writing, as you will hear in his most recent collection of stories. As a one-time client of JIAS Toronto and as a member of Beth Tzedec congregation, it is a natural fit for him partner with these organizations to launch Immigrant City: Stories.
