Family Shabbat Dinner

Feb 24 2023, 5:15PM to 8:00PM in the Herman Hall.
NOTE: This event has already occurred.

Come together for a delicious Shabbat dinner and great programming for kids of all ages.

A young children's craft program begins at 5:15 p.m., with a lively abridged Kabbalat Shabbat service at 5:45 p.m. followed by a delicious Shabbat dinner and programming for kids and adults, with dessert afterwards.

Participants are welcome to join for the craft and service at no cost.

Cantor Audrey Klein, candidate for the Beth Tzedec’s Engagement Rabbi/Cantor position, will join us during the dinner, as well as at other programs throughout this weekend.

We will also be joined by Hallel Silverman, an American born, Israeli raised digital activist located in Tel Aviv. With nearly a decade in Israel Advocacy, Hallel has created and executed content for dozens of major organizations, and has been a leading voice online for progressive Zionism. She is an associate at the Tel Aviv Institute. Hallel will be sharing with the adults the important role that Israeli civil society plays in maintaining the democratic character of the State of Israel.

RSVPs required, and registration closes on Monday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. To register, click here>> or call the synagogue office.
