Corinne Promislow has a Master of Education from York University. She works as a Principal in the Toronto District School Board. Corinne is the co-author of the children’s book “What Does Hate Look Like?” 

Corinne works as an integral part of the TDSB’s Jewish Heritage Committee and is Chair of the Holocaust Education Committee. In that role, Corinne has created programs that addressed Holocaust and Antisemitism, including Board-wide initiatives such as the Anne Frank Exhibit and Kensington Market Tours. Corinne works with the USC Shoah Foundation, writing activities for their iWitness website. 

For the past two years, Corinne worked with Liberation75, as Education Co-Chair and presenter for their conferences. Corinne was also Chair of “Stronger Than Hate 2.0” a collaboration between USC Shoah and Liberation75 that highlighted the 761st African American tank battalion who liberated survivors from death camps.  

Corinne has been a member of Beth Tzedec for over 50 years and was Junior Congregation President. She is excited to be continuing her mother’s legacy as a member of the Board.
