Corinne Promislow has a Master of Education from York University. She retired in June 2023, as an Elementary Principal after working over 30 years in the Toronto District School Board.  Currently, Corinne works at Bright North Studios as a producer on several documentary TV series.

Corinne is the co-author of the children’s book “What Does Hate Look Like?” 

Corinne has worked in Holocaust Education in her roles with the TDSB, Liberation 75 and USC Shoah Foundation.

Currently, Corinne is on the Board Executive as Chair of the Ritual Committee.  She was also the Co-Chair of the Cantor Search committee.  Corinne is co-leading the October Israel Experience trip with Rabbi Wernick.  She also works on several other projects and committees, including the REDI committee as the Executive lead

You can see Corinne most Shabbat mornings, greeting congregants at the door, and often doing the Shabbat announcements from the pulpit.

Corinne has been a member of Beth Tzedec since she was a child and was Junior Congregation President when she was 10 years old. She is excited to be continuing her mother’s legacy as a member of the Board.
