I’m proud to have made Beth Tzedec my home over the past 6 years. This community has given me and my family so much, and I’m honoured to be serving our kehilah as a Director.
In my professional life, I am a high school teacher with the TDSB. I’ve taught at 7 schools in the system over the past 10 years. Currently I’m the Assistant Curriculum Leader of Building Capacity and Supporting Achievement: English/Social Science at Forest Hill Collegiate Institute.
At Beth Tzedec, you can find me at Family Engagement Committee meetings, as the Group Leader for the 20s/30s Social Justice Book Club Small Group, and as a Co-Chair of the REDI (anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) Committee.
In my “spare” time, I enjoy spending time with my
husband, Josh, and 2-year-old daughter, Noa, curling up with a good book, and
trying new recipes in the kitchen. It’s important to me to make sure Beth
Tzedec is a welcoming place to everyone who walks through our doors, whether
those be our virtual doors on Zoom or our physical doors when it is safe for us
to reopen. I’m proud of the community we have, and I’m excited to continue
working to make it better.
