Jonathan Ain joins Beth Tzedec with over 20 years in the not-for-profit sector and over 15 years in senior fundraising roles. Most recently, Jonathan served as the CEO of the Canadian Friends of Bar-Ilan University.

With a passion for Jewish life and the State of Israel, Jonathan has spent the majority of his career within the Jewish community, including having served as Director of Development for CJPAC and Holy Blossom Temple. The remainder of Jonathan’s fundraising experience comes from the healthcare sector, where he has held roles at both SickKids and CAMH.

A native Torontonian, Jonathan resides in North York with his husband, Sam and son, Nathan – along with their furry feline, Roy the Cat.

Jonathan greatly looks forward to the journey with Beth Tzedec whose membership, clergy team, and staff he has always admired.
