20s and 30s

BT 20s & 30s builds community by providing social, educational and social action programming for adults aged 22 to 40.

We offer always popular monthly Shabbat dinners, Small Groups, learning opportunities with partners such as Lishma and Shoresh, nature and mindfulness retreats led by Aviva Chernick, meaningful volunteer/ẖesed opportunities and holiday parties.

20s and 30s Shabbat Dinner

Pride Shabbat

NOTE: This event has already occurred.

Join BT 20s and 30s for our monthly Shabbat at the Floor Service and dinner, celebrating Pride! Come dressed as you are most comfortable. Playful, colourful, sparkly outfits are most welcome.

The Service will be led by the Shabbat at the Floor team with special guests Cantor Steve Zeidenberg and cantorial fellow Shira Bodnar. Emunah Woolf is our special guest speaker at the Service and at the dinner.

Emunah Woolf is a community worker, artist, scholar, and educator. They are passionate about co-creating spaces for communities they belong to, including working with LGBTQ+, Sepharadi, disabled, and neurodivergent folks. 

Emunah is the Inclusive Jewish Community Coordinator at the Miles Nadal JCC where they oversee programming for LGBTQ+ Jews, Sepharadi/Mizrahi initiatives, and Jewish learning opportunities for those in their 20s and 30s. Outside of work, they love to read books, spend time outside, and cook for their friends and family.
