Continuing an important annual Shabbat Dinner tradition, join a community of young adults as we explore the important topic of "Islamaphobia". We will hear personal stories from members of Muslim communities and address the rise of overt anti-Muslim sentiments in Toronto and Canada. As members of the Jewish community, we will explore how we can be allies to Muslims in confronting Islamophobia and address recent points of contention.
The evening begins with a song-filled Kabbalat Shabbat service at 6:00 pm followed by dinner and an engaging panel and discussion period following.
Registration and information available online; for information about the evening, contact Joanne Bieman.
