BT 20s & 30s builds community by providing social, educational and social action programming for adults aged 22 to 40.

We offer always popular monthly Shabbat dinners, Small Groups, learning opportunities with partners such as Lishma and Shoresh, nature and mindfulness retreats led by Aviva Chernick, meaningful volunteer/ẖesed opportunities and holiday parties.

Debbie Rothstein, President of Beth Tzedec Congregation, is a third generation member who grew up in halls of Beth Tzedec. Her grandfather, J. Barney Goldhar, was a founding Board member and past Chairman. Her father, Paul Rothstein, is a Past President. Debbie is currently President of the Congregation, but has been involved in countless committees, initiatives and campaigns at Beth Tzedec.

Director of Finance at Wilder and Rose Inc., Debbie is married to Michael Friedman and has two children, Emma, studying at Queen's University and Zachary, studying at Western University. Through expanding programming options, Debbie seeks to secure Beth Tzedec’s place as a centerpiece of Jewish life in Toronto.
